TURBO SPEED:
Option
Increase the top pitch speed from the standard 60 MPH to 70 MPH.
This turbo setting will also provide a sweeping curve ball (left or right). The turbo switch will allow the operation to be switched between standard speeds and turbo speeds. Turbo Speed will reduce the time between charging, 4 hour will be about 3 hours and 7 hour will be about 6 hours. If you are using the standard speed setting battery life will be the normal 4 and 7 hours.
FEEDER REMOTE CONTROL
Option
The remote control option allows the batter, or anyone else, to turn the feeder on and off from any distance. The pitching wheels continue to turn so that when the feeder wheels are turned on the pitch is up to full speed. There is a bypass switch that silences the remote and allows the machine to operate in its standard continuous feed mode without use of the remote. There also is a light on the front of the machine, in addition to the normal pitch light, which indicates if the feeder is on or off.

Soft-Toss (15MPH)
Use this setting with the younger kids or in limited spaces like a basement or garage. The Soft-Toss setting gently lobs each pitch about 15-20 feet.
Low, Medium and High (30, 45 and 60MPH!
With a top speed of approximately 60 MPH, the Sandlot Slugger™ is the fastest and most accurate pitching machine available for use with Wiffle® perforated plastic golf balls. However, not every hitter is ready for a pitch this fast, so select the speed that best matches your ability or your goals. As your abilities improve, simply increase the pitch speed. This makes the Sandlot Slugger the training tool that you will use and enjoy for years to come.
Right Hand and Left Hand Curveballs (40MPH)
The Sandlot Slugger™ comes with both right and left-handed cut curve ball settings. We suggest mounting the machine on a tripod when using the curve fast balll settings.

Five-Speed Feeder
The feeder on the Sandlot Slugger™ has 5 speed settings, adjustable from 3 to 7 seconds in 1 second intervals. This allows you to adjust how long the pitching machine waits in between each pitch. The feeder on the Sandlot Slugger™ also uses a "Feed-to-the-last-ball" design. Much care has been taken to ensure that each ball is fed, but occasionally a ball or two may be left in the hopper.
Built-in Stand
The Sandlot Slugger™ incorporates a foldout stand for quick and easy setup. No need to purchase an expensive tripod before you begin hitting. Simply pop out the stand, adjust the angle and begin your session. Of course, for those who prefer to hit from a tripod, you can use the built-in tripod mount. Tripods are available when you place your order online.
Tripod Mount
For those who intend to use the curve-ball feature of the Sandlot Slugger™, we suggest using the tripod mount to enhance the downward movement of the typical curve-ball you will see while at-bat during a game. Also, slow-pitch softball players might benefit from the higher arch in the ball when using Soft-Toss for batting practice.
