**Parents: Your child should be made aware of the potential dangers when using the Personal Pitcher
- Never put your fingers into the Personal Pitcher while it is operating.
- The Personal Pitcher is not a toy and an adult should supervise children. It is very important that the batter make sure that the area is clear before swinging the bat.
- Stay clear of the ball opening while the Personal Pitcher is operating. Although the balls are very light, they are made of hard plastic, and eye damage or other injury may occur. Children must be advised of the danger and appropriate precautions should be taken.
- DO NOT use any type of ball other than the type provided such as a regular golf ball or nerf type ball. The use of one of these balls may result in jamming the Personal Pitcher and leaving it inoperable.
- Occasionally a ball will not fall properly. DO NOT LOOK INTO THE FRONT HOLE WHILE THE PERSONAL PITCHER IS RUNNING to see where it is. The following ball may push it out and cause eye injury. If the next ball does not push it through, then turn the Personal Pitcher off before attempting to find the ball. You should be able to dislodge the ball easily by tilting the Personal Pitcher forward to eject the ball.
- Do not use any other battery charger/AC adapter other than the one provided. Never use a battery or other voltage source greater than 7.5 volts. Additional rechargeable batteries are available from SPC. including the 4 hour batteries that come with the Personal Pitcher.

How Fast Does It Throw?
There are four pitch speeds: 20, 35, 45 and 55 mph. By moving home plate closer or farther from the Personal Pitcher you can simulate the reaction time of ANY pitch speed.

Depending on age of the hitter and size of the yard you may not need a batting cage at all for outdoor hitting since the balls don't travel very far.
In other situations, you may need to hang a "catch net" to stop the balls and contain them. If you have a small yard you can put up a small batting cage or build your own using lightweight netting.

Practice hitting a mini wiffle ball with a small diameter Grobat and hitting a regulation size ball with a regulation size bat will seem like hitting a "beach ball".
No Need for a Training Partner
You don't need a batting practice pitcher or a training partner to feed the machine. The hopper on top of the machine holds 100 balls. Load up the hopper, turn on the machine and take your place at home plate to begin hitting. The Personal Pitcher throws a pitch every 5.5 or 8 seconds -switch selectable.

QUESTION: Is this machine advanced enough for a Varsity High School Player?
ANSWER: Absolutely! Players at all levels, including Major Leaguers, use the Personal Pitcher to maintain their swing. Even Chris Richard still uses to keep his swing in the off season! Note: I have three sons: two high school varsity players and one little leaguer who regularly hit off of the Personal Pitcher.
QUESTION: What kind of balls do you use? How long will they last? Can I use the golf ball sized balls that I already have?
ANSWER: It comes with balls made by The Wiffle Ball, Inc. They are the best quality and should last well over 1 year. Most golf ball sized poly balls will work.

Light?
The Personal Pitcher is the original wiffle ball pitching machine that uses a light to notify the hitter that the pitch is about to be delivered. The Pitch Indicator Light gets brighter just before the pitch is released. This allows the hitter to effectively time the pitch and prevents being "caught off guard" by a sudden pitch out of nowhere.
The Personal Pitcher Pro throws curve balls AND sliders. Pre-set switch settings eliminate playing around to get the right spin on the ball. The switch settings ensure curve ball consistency from one day to the next.

How good are the curves?

The best baseball pitching machine alternative
You don’t need a baseball pitching machine to practice hitting for baseball. Nor do you need a softball pitching machine to practice hitting for softball. There are a number of advantages to using a Wiffle ball pitching machine (especially the mini golf ball size Wiffle ball machine) for batting practice.

The Automatic Ball Feeder
With most baseball pitching machines a second person must stand at the machine a feed a ball into the machine in order for the machine to operate. Sometimes there is an expensive (yet limited in terms of the number of balls) add on ball feeder you can purchase that will feed a small number of balls.
The ball feeder on the Personal Pitcher will feed 100 balls at two (selectable) speeds, either at 5.5 second or at 8 second intervals.
