Some things to look for in a pair of batting gloves:

  • Color (last but not least).  White and black are neutral and work with most uniforms.  If you want a basic color to match the team uniform you can find red, blue, green, yellow, gray, and an assortment of  other colors to match the color scheme of your team and uniform.
  • Padding.   To reduce vibration and shock form the bat and from poorly hit balls.  Great for cold weather hitting in the spring school season as well as for summer and fall baseball.
  • Flexibility.  To allow for better hand and finger movement.
  • Microbial Resistance and Moisture Control. Sweaty gloves packed into a tight airless equipment bag can become a good “host” for microbial growth hence the need to resist microbial growth.
