Learn to hit anywhere in the strike zone by practicing the "five points" soft toss. Get used to swinging and making contact in all four corners of the strike zone as well as anywhere in between.
How to do Five Points Soft Toss
Move home plate up toward the pitcher's screen and have the tosser throw from behind the screen. The tosser's job here is to toss the balls to the four corners of the strike zone as well as right down the middle of the plate in a random sequence. The batter will learn to react and hit any pitch , anywhere in the strike zone - good drill for RHA (Reaciive Hitting Approach) two strike hitting.
Polyball Batting Practice
The most practical way to improve your hitting skill. Serious batting practice - at home. (indoors or outdoors.) Fast balls, curve balls and sliders. Don't waste another coin at a commercial batting cage. Great for all ages and skill levels.
